President and CEO
Kevin joined the Indiana Chamber’s advocacy team in November 1992, became senior vice president of government affairs in 1997 and president and CEO in 2002. Previously, Kevin served nine years as a financial analyst for the Finance Committee of the Indiana Senate and three years as a management analyst for the Legislative Services Agency.
Kevin is recognized as an expert in the areas of business taxation, property taxation, local government, state budget and school finance. Kevin received his bachelor’s degree in forensic studies from Indiana University. He holds a master’s degree in public finance and labor relations, as well as a master’s degree in business administration (with a major in corporate finance), both from Indiana University.
Vice President of Education and Workforce Development
Jason Bearce currently serves as the Vice President of Education and Workforce Development at the Indiana Chamber of Commerce.
Previously, as Senior Associate Commissioner for Strategy & External Affairs for the Indiana Higher Education Commission, Bearce served as a senior adviser to the state’s higher education commissioner in the areas of policy strategy, communication and outreach, and student success initiatives. Bearce’s contributions included leading the development of the Commission’s strategic plan and spearheading reforms to Indiana’s 21st Century Scholars program in an effort to increase college completion and career preparation for Hoosier students. Bearce previously served as staff liaison for Indiana’s Education Roundtable and held leadership positions at the Indiana Department of Education as communications director and policy adviser. Bearce holds an undergraduate degree from Purdue University and an MBA from Western Governors University.

Alison Martin is the Founder and CEO of Engage Mentoring, a plug and play mentoring software solution for companies wishing to offer a structured mentoring program to skill up their employee population.
With impressive background work and roughly 20 years in nonprofit, beginning with four years working in higher education and on to Executive Director at two different health-related nonprofit organizations, Alison’s passion for developing talent led her to start a consulting firm, Diverse Talent Strategies, in 2011. Her work in developing large scale mentoring programs led her to the development of the Engage Mentoring software, which launched in January 2019 and spun out as a separate entity in 2020.
